Málaga is an very attractive city. Therefore there are a lot of cruise ships stopping by to offer their participants a tour through the city center. Within a couple of hours the cruise participants are able to learn the versatile cultural facets of Málaga.

Possibility of parking

At the port of Málaga there are a lot of possibilities for parking cars. At the Paseo de los Curas in front of the entrance to the port area you will find a lot of parking lots. Sometimes there are men showing you the way into a parking lot. Most of these men are homeless. Therefore you could give them one solidarity euro for their help. You should take care not to park in an empty parking lot which is marked with yellow zigzag lines. Those parking lots are temporarily reserved for special groups of people. Have a look at the road signs to figure out when you are able to use these parking lots.

At the Paseo Marítimo Ciudad de Melilla on the east side of Muelle Uno next to the beach La Malagueta you will also find parking lots. Those are not for free but way cheaper than the ones you can find in an underground car park. From this street to the strolling mile Muelle Uno you only need a couple of minutes to go.

Moreover there are a lot of underground car parks around the port of Málaga. If you arrive from the westside of Málaga at the Paseo de los Curas you are able to turn to the right into the underground car park Parking Muelle Uno. Another underground car park you will find at the lighthouse Parking Paseo de la Farola. But if you are interested to visit the port and the center of Málaga you should use the underground car park Parking Central below the Plaza de la Marina. From there you only need about 3 minutes to the Calle Larios as well as to the port.
