For bird lovers, the Park "Loro Sexi in Almuñécar" is a true paradise. Over 100 different species of birds can be visited there – including peacocks, parrots, toucans, cockatoos, macaws, swans, ducks and much more. Already in the entrance area you can hear the twittering and beeping of the birds. If you pass the cash register, you have the choice between two different ways. On the right one, a staircase leads up to numerous large cages as. The left side leads downwards to other animals. In addition to feathered animals, the Loro Sexi also contains animals like lemurs, meerkats and turtles.
In addition to the exotic animals that can be admired throughout the park, there is a cactus garden that borders the walls of the castle San Miguel. The garden is located in the upper rear part of the park. Numerous cacti of different sizes and colors surround the garden. Next to the cactus garden, a staircase leads down to the other animals. A pleasant tour takes about an hour. (Editor/Photos/Video: Michael Trampert)
