Exploring the green and blooming nature of Nerja with a horse. This is what Heidi Ramseier from Switzerland offers. More than 20 years ago she emigrated to Spain and founded the riding stable "Cortijo Hidalgo" together with her husband Antonio. Besides 17 horses there are also numerous of chickens, dogs, donkeys and peacocks. Heidi has trained her horses over the years. Therefore they are very easy to handle, which is why a ride is also ideal for beginners. The tours that Heidi offers lead from the Cortijo along numerous mango and avocado plantations, blooming fields and river beds all the way to the beach or the back country of the Axarquía. As the climate is mild even in winter, there are horse riding excursions all year round.
